Team Fortress 2 Free to Play

The well renown PC First Person Shooter, Team Fortress 2 is now free to play. Developer Valve has just recently adjusted the game's price to a nice, $0, in hopes of attracting new adoring fans. This change has indeed brought a large number of Free to Play players to the game, as well as a whole slew of new Valve owned servers to compensate for the new player base.

However, just because you have the game free to play now, does not mean that you have the full benefits of a full premium account, meaning if you did not purchase the game you may not be able to do everything the game has available. In order to unlock a premium account from a FTP account, you must first purchase an item from the Mann Co. Store.

Due to this, Valve will only be making money via Mann Co. Store purchases. This is great news to the gaming community, especially those who are looking for a great new game to play. However, many gamers are upset to go into an intense game, only to find that half of your team is running in the wrong direction, shooting each other because they have no f***ing clue what is going on.

There is a patch however, for certain servers, that allow the server to distinguish FTP accounts from premium accounts, so that only seasoned players make it into the battlefield. If you are looking to download Team Fortress 2 right now, visit this link to begin the fight.
